Our home

Following years of hard work and commitment by our local community, our new 60-bed state-of-the-art aged care facility was completed in December 2013. Prom Country House, designed by architects Clarke Hopkins Clarke is single storey comprising three, 20-bed modules. All residents’ rooms have their own ensuites and internet and telephone ports. Each 20-bed module has its own internal courtyard with a special feature such as a pergola or fountain, and plenty of plants to be enjoyed.  Special lifestyle features include the flexible recreational areas, incorporating the Cinema/Family Dining Room, Reflection/Library Room, Coffee Lounge and Bar, consulting room and hairdresser.

Our people at work

Prom Country Aged Care embodies the meaning of community with the wide range of people involved in running the organisation. The voluntary Board of Management is drawn from the membership which in turn represents a cross-section of the community. Our committed and hardworking staff come from all over South Gippsland as do the many volunteers that help us look after our residents on a daily basis.
