PCH Redevelopment

The shared bathroom has now been demolished and temporary walls put up. It doesn't look like there is much happening at this stage however a lot of work is being done to get all of the in-ground services ready for the slab to be laid.

PCH Redevelopment

Work is well underway onsite now with the builders' site sheds erected and all of the fencing up. Earthworks have begun and we have moved the flag pole and the commemorative plaque temporarily to keep them safe. The assisted bathroom has also been demolished to enable the new building to commence. The chook shed has been successfully moved around to the area just outside the blue wing dining room and the small water tank from along the back wall has been moved with it. Keep an eye out for the entry of the chooks to their new home!

PCH Redevelopment

Our exciting new redevelopment commenced last week on Monday 22 May 2017. Local builders Considine & Johnston have been appointed to build the extension and work on the site has commenced full steam ahead. Five new resident suites with living areas will be built along with a common lounge, dining area, storage rooms and a nurse station. A open multi purpose space is also being built to enable us to add further resident rooms as reuqired in the future. Keep an eye out here in the news section of our wesbite for regular updates as they are avilable.
